Veg Box 2022

About us 

Fferm y Felin is run by three core members - Urien, Mali and Sadbh - with the help of volunteers both local and international. We want to be able to provide our community with local veg grown using Organic and Biodynamic methods. Our mission is to grow nutritious food in a way that is sustainable and cares for soil health and diversity!

What it is

We provide you with a weekly share of the vegetables freshly harvested at Fferm y Felin. You are welcome to pick up your veg box from Friday to Sunday from Fferm y Felin which is located at Menter Y Felin Uchaf Center, Rhoshirwaun (bear in mind that we harvest the veg on Friday so picking up on the Friday is ideal for the freshest veg!) 

How it works

• We ask you to sign up to our scheme and pay a month in advance - this will mean that you are agreeing to having a weekly veg box from June until the end of November. By signing up to our scheme and paying 4 weeks in advance, we are able to budget, have better planning and most importantly are able to provide ourselves with a monthly wage so that we can continue to consistently supply you with delicious veg throughout the season! We offer a 10% discount if you are able to pay upfront for the season. If you’ve newly signed up and decide that it’s just not for you we’re happy to cancel your subscription after the first week.

• Each week we have a selection of seasonal veg - usually 7 items for a small veg box (£10), 10 for a medium (£15) and 12 for a large veg box (£20)

• We fill our boxes with as much of our own produce as possible - from time to time if we feel we don’t have enough of what we would like to offer - especially in October and November - we source Organic certified British veg through Oren Foods.

• With a limited number of slots available, make sure you get in touch ASAP if you are interested in receiving a box from us this Summer! 

One final thing to add… We ask that…

• If you are not able to collect your box on any particular week, please arrange for a friend or family member to have your box in your place!

• If you need to opt out we ask that you give us a month's notice so we can fill your spot.
