Eco-Visitor Centre

The centre is open every day between 10 and 4pm all year for visitors. You can enjoy the nature trails, picnic in the herb and flower gardens, visit the new eco-building projects , the boatshed or join us for an evening of spellbinding storytelling or music in the big Celtic Roundhouse

The centre is in the final phase of its 15 year development plan so many of the buildings projects on site are still underway. This gives visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the process and engage with the teams of trainees and volunteers doing the construction.

Visitors may combine their visit with a stay in one of our beautiful thatched roundhouses or meadow cabin

We sell exquisitely made crafts - from heirloom boxes and traditionally inspired Welsh furniture made of local timber to beautiful willow baskets and garden furniture, richly textured rugs and weavings and felted accessories crafted from local fleeces. These are available at the Farm Shop at the centre , you can also view some of the items online here on the Shop page. The Art of Creating Beautiful Craftwork

No two pieces are ever alike : the items are beautifully made and finished by hand to be enjoyed and treasured. All of our crafts are made of natural materials from sustainably managed local resources.

The Natural House - beautiful studios homes and workpaces for comfort and sustainability.

Based on site: we offer an entire consultation and design through to finished building service. Our buildings are made with the same ethos and attention to fine craft and detailing as the furniture and made using natural, sustainably managed materials. This service provides training opportunities for interns and apprentices at the centre's main thatched, oak framed workshop.

If you have an interesting project you would like to discuss then please get in touch.
